Activity details
Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) Case Management Mapping: The NSW Government is leading a project to build a comprehensive map of DFV case management and case coordination services across NSW. This project aims to improve understanding of the distribution, nature, availability, and accessibility of these services, and to identify any service gaps and opportunities for integration or expansion of existing services.
This activity is part of a broader activity to expand access to specialist DFV case management services across the service sector for those who need it most.
Implementation progress update
In September 2024, the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) finalised an analysis of specialist DFV violence case management services to better understand gaps and inform future recommissioning. The project included a gap analysis, mapping the coverage of services across NSW against indicators of need. This project has since informed the expansion of existing services to areas with unmet need, and has been shared with DCJ Districts to inform their local planning.
