Implementation progress update

Sexual Violence Prevention and Response Strategy
The State Government is working collaboratively across agencies to finalise the Sexual Violence Prevention and Response Strategy (the Strategy) and accompanying implementation plan for release. The Strategy will take a whole-of-government approach to preventing and addressing the impact of sexual violence in the community and will consider the full continuum of sexual violence, including sexual harassment, abuse and threats. It will also consider the needs of all victims – including those who are male, female and gender diverse. Development of the strategy has been informed by findings from a state-wide consultation process in late 2023. For more information see Sexual Violence and Response Strategy 2025-2025.
