Continue to progress on the development of a comprehensive, evidence based ACT Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence Strategy (the Strategy) in close collaboration with victim-survivors, community and government partners.

Implementation progress update

The ACT Government is developing an integrated Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence Strategy (the Strategy). The Strategy will provide a comprehensive, whole of government and whole of community approach to preventing and responding to domestic, family and sexual violence (DFSV) over the next 10 years. The Strategy will be supported by detailed Action Plans. A Monitoring and Evaluation Framework (the Framework) will also be developed alongside the Strategy. It will establish a consistent approach to how the ACT Government monitors, reports and evaluates reforms and initiatives to address DFSV. Consultation is underway with the specialist and non-specialist sectors , government agencies, and victim-survivors. The ACT Government intends to launch the Strategy in mid 2026.
