National Cabinet agreed to the commissioning of 2 studies to address critical knowledge gaps to inform interventions and responses to high-risk perpetrators of family and domestic violence. The 2 research projects will focus on:

• bail, remand, parole and sentencing
• improving the operation of court-mandated behaviour change programs.
