Invest $7.4 million over 4 years to extend the Domestic and Family Violence Crisis Accommodation Program (DFV-CAP) and Perpetrator Response Program. The DFV-CAP provides women and children escaping domestic and family violence accommodation and case management support to secure safe and stable housing.
Implementation progress update
The South Australian Government is ensuring the continuation of the DFV-CAP and Domestic and Family Violence Perpetrator Response Program (DFV-PRP) services.
In 2024, Office for Women SA undertook a service model review, introducing a Women's Safety Contact Officer to provide support to victim-survivors of perpetrators accommodated in DFV-PRP.
In the 2023-24 State Budget, the State Government committed $7.4 million over 4 years to extend the DFV-CAP and DFV-PRP programs.
