Activity details
Continuation of the Crisis Payment which is a one-off payment available to income support recipients who are in severe financial hardship and have experienced family or domestic violence.
This activity is part of a broader activity to continue and expand supports for victim-survivors through Services Australia.
Implementation progress update
Crisis Payment continues to be delivered. Over 31,800 crisis payments were granted in 2023-24 to support customers affected by family and domestic violence.
