Implementation progress update
The Community-Led Sexual Violence Prevention Pilot (also known as the Partners in Prevention of Sexual Violence) will improve the evidence base for sexual violence prevention in Australia by evaluating the impact of up to 9 interventions on the drivers and reinforcers of sexual violence.
The interventions are being delivered by organisations (delivery partners) in Victoria, Tasmania, New South Wales, Queensland and Western Australia. This is in metro and regional areas, across a range of settings, including schools, universities, sporting clubs, health care and juvenile detention.
The University Partner, La Trobe University, will evaluate each intervention using an experimental or quasi experimental design. These interventions will be delivered and evaluated over 18-months from August 2025.
An evaluation partner, ARTD, will examine the effectiveness of this program model in generating evidence for sexual violence prevention (The evaluation is due mid-2027).
