Implementation progress update
This activity sits under Reform Area 4 of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Action Plan 2023-2025 and is key to building the evidence base for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and children.
The Department of Social Services (department) is finalising consultation on the scope of the project with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Advisory Council on Family, Domestic and Sexual Violence. The formal arrangement is expected to be established in the third quarter of the 2025-26 financial year. The project is expected to be delivered by 30 June 2028.
The department is currently working on finalising agreement to the scope of works and finding the right organisation to deliver the project.
