Activity details
Undertaking research and community engagement to co-design a resource that raises community awareness of domestic, family and sexual violence (DFSV) for older women and provides evidence for policy development and future investment.
This activity is part of a broader activity to develop workforce training resources to build mainstream workforce competence in delivering trauma-informed, culturally appropriate, and safe DFSV services.
Implementation progress update
Beginning November 2023, the Council of the Ageing (COTA) SA began a research project to understand the unique experiences of older women in South Australia who have experienced DFSV. The report from the project is available, along with 4 posters developed from the findings of the research, on the COTA SA website.
