Activity details
The Board of Inquiry into the Criminal Justice System final report was provided to Government on 31 July 2023. Government is currently working to implement recommendations from that report.
Implementation progress update
The Government established an Implementation Group with representatives from the Justice and Community Safety Directorate, ACT Policing and the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions. The Implementation Group focussed on implementing the Government Response, and building community confidence in our criminal justice system.
