Ray Griggs, the Secretary of the Department of Social Services, has established a set of Procedures for determining breaches of the Code of Conduct and for determining sanctions (‘Secretary’s Procedures’) under subsection 15 (3) of the Public Service Act 1999 ('the Act').
The Secretary's Procedures commenced on 24 March 2022.
The Secretary’s Procedures supersede the previous Secretary’s Procedures, dated 15 October 2021, made under subsection 15 (3) of the Act, although the previous Secretary’s Procedures may continue to apply for transitional purposes.
