Gambling research
Research purpose
We used research to create the National Consumer Protection Framework for Online Wagering (National Framework). This framework helps to protect people who gamble online. It includes 10 measures that were trialled and tested before implementation.
Research partners
We partnered with 2 organisations to inform the implementation of the National Framework measures.
Gambling Research Australia worked in partnership with the Australian, state and territory governments to initiate and manage a national gambling research program.
The Australian Gambling Research Centre(Opens external website) is part of the Australian Institute of Family Studies. This partnership provided resources for policymakers, researchers and professionals in gambling.
