Financial Wellbeing Hubs can help you access financial counselling, financial skills services, no interest loans and emergency relief.

How Financial Wellbeing Hubs work 

Financial Wellbeing Hubs provide: 

Eligibility 

You can access these services if you: 

  • can't pay a bill or are at imminent risk of not being able to pay a bill
  • receive an income support payment
  • are a newly arrived migrant/non-citizen (priority to be given to newly arrived refugees)
  • are a woman experiencing family violence. 

Support available now

If you need support, you can contact the National Debt Helpline on 1800 007 007 or visit the website. The helpline is open from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday.  

You can also speak to a Financial Counsellor through the National Debt Helpline online chat service. Online chat is open from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, Monday to Friday.  

Calls from public phones/mobile phones may be timed and charged at a higher rate.
