About our Emissions Reduction Plan
The Australian Government is committed to reducing government emissions to net zero by 2030. Our Emissions Reduction Plan outlines how we will help to achieve the APS Net Zero 2030 target.
Our plan has targeted action on existing measures. It also includes new measures.
Our priorities include:
- buying renewable electricity
- improving building performance
- moving fleet passenger vehicles to low emission vehicles
- ensuring future procurement activity is sustainable
- encouraging low-emission travel
- uplifting our people, culture, and capability.
Our annual reports show our progress towards reducing our emissions.
