Forced Marriage Stream Trial – Final Evaluation Report (Summary)

The Support for Trafficked People Program began in 2004 and provides assistance to all victims of human trafficking, slavery and slavery-like practices who meet the eligibility criteria. It is divided into a number of support streams, including the Forced Marriage Support Stream Trial. The trial allows people who are in or at risk of forced marriage to access up to 200 days of assistance under the Support Program without having to participate in a criminal justice process. This is an increase from 90 days available before the trial.
