Partnership Priorities Committee
The Partnership Priorities Committee is a subcommittee of the Secretaries Board.
Purpose
The purpose of the Committee is to steer better policy and delivery outcomes for Australians. We do this by further embedding partnership culture and behaviour in the public service. We want to ensure a consistent, natural and early impulse to engage and co-design with:
- First Nations People
- communities
- states and territories
- business
- unions
- non-government organisations (NGOs)
- tertiary sector.
Terms of Reference
The Partnership Priorities Committee Terms of Reference were officially endorsed at the meeting on 7 June 2023. The revised Terms of Reference to expand membership, were endorsed on 12 September 2023.
Membership
The Partnership Priorities Committee membership comprises:
- The Secretary of the Department of Social Services (Co-chair)
- The CEO of the National Indigenous Australians Agency (Co-chair)
- The Secretary of the Department of Treasury
- The Secretary of the Department of Education
- The Secretary of the Attorney-General’s Department
- The Secretary of the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations
- The Secretary of the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts
- The Australian Public Service Commissioner
- The Secretary of the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water
- The Secretary of the Department of Industry, Science and Resources
