    A forum for member Governments to discuss matters of mutual interest and progress key national reform in disability policy.
  •  International participation in disability issues
    The Department works with international organisations, including the United Nations, on policy development and research for international disabilities issues.
  • International Day of People with Disability
    International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) was established in 1992 by the United Nations General Assembly to promote awareness of disability issues and the abilities of people with disability. It is celebrated worldwide on 3 December each year.
