Share your thoughts on the national set of principles for regulating assistance animals
Consultation now open on Assistance Animal National Principles.

Share your thoughts on our proposed Assistance Animal National Principles.
Assistance animals help people access a range of locations and provide support in a range of ways. A lack of nationally consistent principles for assistance animal regulation has led to uncertainty in this space.
From March to May 2021, the Australian Government asked for your feedback on the challenges faced by people using assistance animals.
This feedback was used to draft a national set of principles for regulating assistance animals.
The Australian Government wants to hear from you again about how you think those national principles are shaping up.
