Minister for Social Services Amanda Rishworth announced an extra $2.55 million in funding to extend the Your Caring Way pilot program.
The program extension means carers can continue accessing training, education and coaching to help reach their career goals.
The responsibility of caring can make it hard to meet work goals and aspirations for many carers.
We fund Carers Queensland to deliver the program in Queensland, South Australia and Tasmania.
This extension shows the Government’s commitment to improving the workforce participation of Australia’s 2.65 million unpaid carers.
