Pilot an intersectional and sustainable engagement model for consulting with adult victim-survivors on initiatives aimed at addressing family, domestic and sexual violence with representation from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Implementation progress update
The ACT Government is partnering with Women's Health Matters (WHM) and Sisters in Spirit Aboriginal Corporation to pilot the Victim Survivor Voices Project.
Across 2024-25, WHM finalised the design of the pilot including the consultation topics and engaged participants. In March 2025, consultation on the ACT Domestic Family and Sexual Violence Strategy commenced.
