Activity details
Build on existing commitments toward developing nationally consistent data from existing administrative information sources on violence experienced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Implementation progress update
The Western Australian Government is contributing to national consultation on consistent data approaches through the Data and Digital Ministers Meeting Family and Domestic Violence Information Sharing project. This includes engagement with other Western Australian government agencies, such as the Department of Communities and the WA Police Force. The aim is to develop a national framework for sharing family and domestic violence data. The approach should reflect the local operational context and align with existing initiatives under the Western Australian Strengthening Responses to Family and Domestic Violence System Reform Plan 2024–2029.
