Implementation progress update
The ACT Government has funded Yerrabi Yurwang Child and Family Aboriginal Corporation from 2023 to 2029 to deliver the NaraGanaWali Strengthening Families Program.
The program is a community-led initiative that supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, particularly women and children affected by family, domestic and sexual violence. It provides intensive case management, cultural support, clinical interventions, life-skills education and support to access accommodation, legal and health services.
The 2025-26 ACT Budget provides Yerrabi Yurwang $1.7 million over 3 years from 2026-27 to continue to deliver NaraGanaWali. For more information see NarraGunnaWali – Family Support – Yerrabi Yurwang.
