Activity details
The MYH Health and Recovery Trauma Safety Services Division, Women's & Children's Health Network run programs that include culturally safe therapeutic counselling and group work for young fathers/young men in metro Adelaide. These programs are focussed around screening for domestic and family violence, improving child wellbeing and development, increasing connection to culture, and increasing parenting skills networks.
Implementation progress update
Therapeutic engagement activities have been planned and rolled out across the MYH service sites. Repeated successful grant funding allocations have been gained from the Office For Women. The program currently has funding for one full time equivalent Social Work staff member.
