Activity details

Family and Domestic Violence One Stop Hubs (FDV Hubs) provide a range of specialist services in one location, accessible through a soft entry point. They prioritise ease of access and wrap around support for women and children. There are currently 5 FDV Hubs operating across Western Australia in Perth, Mirrabooka, Kalgoorlie, Armadale and Broome. The FDV Hubs are designed to suit their local community. The service model includes fixed elements and flexible components that aim to meet community needs. The fixed elements include soft entry activities such as yoga, craft and cultural activities. They also include advocates who are the central point of contact and provider of emotional and practical support for victim-survivors, creche services and cultural governance. Flexible elements, like alliance partners, are designed locally and can include group and one-to-one counselling, legal services, housing services, mental health support, financial support, alcohol and other drug counselling, yarning circles, education workshops and men’s outreach services.
