The South Australian Office for Women provided ANROWS with funding to undertake an evaluation of 4 partnership programs funded under the National Partnership Agreement within South Australia. Under this evaluation New Era Advisory and Birriwal Engagement have been engaged to work closely with South Australian Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCOs) in the family, domestic and sexual violence (FDSV) sector to explore cultural safety across the sector.
Implementation progress update
The evaluators are engaging with South Australian ACCOs KWY Aboriginal Corporation and First Nations Healing, who deliver the Kumangka (ACCOs Together) program, a recovery and healing pilot partnership. KWY has also partnered with non-Indigenous organisations to deliver the early intervention pilot Collaborative Intervention Partnership. First Nations Healing has partnered with non-Indigenous organisations to deliver the Earlier Access to Supports and Engagement early intervention pilot. A final report on the findings is expected to be completed and shared with the Office for Women in mid-late 2025.
