Activity details
Development of the Aboriginal Family Violence Risk Assessment Tool is a priority reform action of the Family and Domestic Violence System Reform Plan 2024-2029. It is intended that the tool will be used with Aboriginal families across the service system.
Implementation progress update
In June 2025, the Department of Communities released a tender for an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation, Aboriginal Registered Business or an Aboriginal consultant to develop the tool, including practice guidance.
