The Office for Women will share appropriate de-identified data and key themes collected through the Family Safety Portal for use in the Women’s and Family Safety Partnership Committee to assist in decision-making.
Implementation progress update
During the 2024-25 financial year, the Office for Women consulted with Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations working in the family, domestic and sexual violence sector in South Australia to better understand the cultural appropriateness of the Family Safety Framework for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and children. The Office for Women will continue to explore opportunities to engage the South Australian Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations Network in reviews of the Family Safety Framework, in line with any relevant recommendations that may arise from the South Australian Royal Commission into Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence.
