Fund an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander-led organisation to engage in the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community to raise awareness of family, domestic and sexual violence (FDSV) and deliver healing activities for those impacted by FDSV.
Implementation progress update
WhISPers Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Softball Corporation is funded from 2023 to 2029 to deliver the Community Healing Our Way program. The program delivers community engagement, information and healing activities through sports and cultural events to support improved awareness and healing for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people impacted by family, domestic and sexual violence.
The 2025-26 ACT Budget provides $183,000 over 3 years from 2026-27 to continue the Community Healing Our Way program.
