Activity details
Exhancement of the existing 9 Aboriginal Child and Family Centres across NSW, and expansion with the development of 6 new Centres.
Implementation progress update
Six new Aboriginal Child and Family Centres (ACFC) are due to be delivered by 2026 as part of the New South Wales Government’s Brighter Beginnings initiative program. ACFCs are a place where families with children aged 0 to 8 years can access culturally safe services and supports. As part of the ACFC Enhancement Program a major program is underway to upgrade/expand the 9 existing ACFCs across the state, to ensure building, health and safety standards and codes are met, and that the centres are updated to include digital technology, energy efficiencies and sustainability.
