Early childhood report
The Queensland University of Technology published the Footprints in Time: LSIC Early Childhood Report in 2025. They also published the summary report and fact sheets. These are for early childhood educators, policy makers and LSIC participants.
Researchers used 14 waves of data and stories from the study. They showed that cultural connections to Country, language and Mob are just as critical as preschool and playgroups. They shape wellbeing and success throughout school and into adolescence.
