On 25 November 2020, former Minister for Social Services, Senator the Hon Anne Ruston, released the Government response to The Countervailing Power: Review of the coordination and funding for financial counselling services across Australia (the Review).
The Review was undertaken by Ms Louise Sylvan AM, following the findings made in the Royal Commission into Misconduct in the Banking, Superannuation and Financial Services Industry. The Review was publicly released on 3 October 2019.
