Disability Royal Commission Terms of Reference consultation

The Department of Social Services undertook a public consultation on the draft Terms of Reference for the Disability Royal Commission from 13 to 28 March 2019. This consultation has now closed.

Consultations were held with people with disability, their families and carers, disability peak bodies, advocates, and with state and territory governments.

Feedback was collected through an online Public Survey. The Disability Advocacy Network Australia (DANA) also developed and ran an Easy Version Survey for individuals and groups.

The Government received over 3,700 responses to the online survey on the draft Terms of Reference. Thirty per cent of respondents were people with disability.
