Standards and Quality Assurance
Community-based mental health services funded by DSS are delivered in accordance with the National Standards for Mental Health Services, available on the Department of Health website.
The National Standards focus on recovery and are based on values related to human rights and dignity. They promote the empowerment of consumers of mental health services, their carers and families and they emphasise practices that support continuous improvement in service quality.
Our services are delivered in accordance with relevant Commonwealth, state and territory legislation, regulations and standards.
