SAAP Report - Appropriate Responses for Homeless people Whose Needs Require a High level and Complexity of Service Provision

November 1999

This report looks at a more structured approach to providing appropriate responses to people who are homeless and have a high level and complex needs (including people suffering from family violence) from services funded by SAAP and other programs from which they receive support.

The Supported Accommodation Assistance Program (SAAP) funds organisations to provide transitional supported accommodation and related support services to people who are homeless. It aims to achieve the maximum possible degree of self- reliance and independence.
