Aim of publication

This report is the second in a series of annual reports to the Council of Australian Governments and the general public on the Protecting Children is Everyone’s Business: National Framework for Protecting Australia’s Children 2009–2020 (the National Framework).  The report details the progress made and challenges faced during the second year of implementation of the National Framework.

Who is it for?

This report is for Commonwealth, State and Territory governments, non-government organisations and service providers.  The information contained in this report will also be of interest to individuals working with children or people who are concerned about children and their wellbeing.

What does it cover?                                               

The report provides an update on actions and reforms progressed by the Commonwealth, State and Territory governments and the non-government sector, through the Coalition of Organisations Committed to the Safety and Wellbeing of Australia’s Children.  The report also highlights progress in delivering the national priorities including case studies and information on programs and activities.
