FSP Administrative Approval Requirements
The Family Support Program (FSP) Administrative Approval Requirements are a set of 15 quality service standards, covering the five key risk areas of governance, financial management, viability, performance management and issues management. If specified under the terms of their Funding Agreement, FSP service providers must comply with the FSP Approval Requirements.
As a quality assurance framework, ongoing self-assessment against the Approval Requirements will provide DSS, staff of the organisations, and families accessing services, with assurance that quality services are being delivered and staff are supported. Funded organisations may also be externally assessed against the Approval Requirements.
The Guide to Compliance Ratings has been developed to assist service providers to integrate the Approval Requirements in their workplace policies and practices.
