National Carer Strategy Implementation Plan
The National Carer Strategy is the Australian Government’s recognition of the invaluable contribution of carers to the Australian community.
The National Carer Strategy Implementation Plan outlines how the Strategy’s priorities and ideas for action will be put in place now and into the future.
The Implementation Plan is based on three year action plans, outlining practical actions, responsibilities and timelines against each of the Strategy's priority areas.
The Action Plan (2011-2014) is a companion document to the Implementation Plan.
The Implementation Plan and first Action Plan (2011-2014) were developed in consultation with carers, state and territory governments, service providers and peak organisations.
