Aboriginal Resources Development Services Inc Community Support Yolngu Radio Project $118,388 The radio project increases community capacity to deal more effectively with issues (political, cultural/sensitive) impacting their lives.  It enables the community to overcome language barriers and facilitates access to information through regular educational radio programs.  An important feature of the program is that they mainly deliver in the Yolgnu Matha language to an audience of up to 6,500 people.  They broadcast in the North East Arnhem area and Darwin and Palmerston. 08 8987 3910
Anglicare NT Pandanus Project $131,713 The project assists members of the community who would not normally access mainstream services to build effective parenting and relationship skills.  It delivers educational activities for young pregnant women and parents, a regular activity has evolved from Mums with Drums program.  This program is delivered in the Darwin, Palmerston and Rural areas (Birth Centre - Royal Darwin Hospital - Casuarina, Tar Tar Centre - Karama, Danila Dilba Family Centre - Darwin City, Moulden Park Primary - Palmerston) to raise the profile of the Pandanus Project.  It also works with associated services to improve information sharing, integrated service delivery, coordination and referral options for young people and families. 08 8985 0000
BushMob Inc BushMob Project $117,875 The project strengthens support to youth, families and communities by delivering better services and addressing unmet needs through the building of partnerships between local services. The project provides weekly bush trips to Amoonguna, Santa Theresa and Hermannsburg. Regular Jam Session/media training are run from the Schwartz Crescent premises. 08 8953 3798
Crisis Accommodation Gove (Inc) Children & Outreach Support Worker (Nhulunbuy) $102,500 The project assists members of the community to build effective parenting and relationship skills.  The Organisation provides emergency accommodation for people from various surrounding communities and the Outreach support worker asses and assists the client to access services within Nhulunbuy.  It engages associated services to improve information sharing, integrated service delivery, coordination and referral options for young people and families in the specified target groups.  The Organisation is based in Nhulunbuy and delivers an outreach service to East Arnhem Remote Communities when required. 08 8987 3133
Mission Australia Itinerant Outreach Program - Grass Roots Solutions $134,531 The project works in partnership with local services to provide support to families and communities. A mobile service operating from Coconut Grove holds sessions in Darwin and Palmerston Indigenous Town Camps (long grass camps), engaging with families and providing information and transport to facilitate access to services that empower them to improve their lifestyle outcomes. 08 8935 0900
Multicultural Community Services of Central Australia Inc Susu Mama Group Project $8,200 The project responds to the settlement and multicultural needs of persons from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds in Alice Springs.  It provides access to relevant information, referral to education and counselling services and other forms of support. 08 8952 8776
Multicultural Council of the Northern Territory Multicultural Solutions $97,375 The project provides a place and service where children and families of immigrants and refugees from CALD backgrounds can interact with one another and link with service providers. The project, based in Malak, also enhances parenting and relationship skills in participants, and builds partnerships between local services to provide support to CALD families. It provides access to life skills activities and positive aging experience for older CALD people. They hold regular migrant parent support group meetings at the Jingili Water Gardens focusing on topics such as intergenerational/family relationship conflicts, school/education issues and are attended by guest speakers from mainstream services including NT Police. 08 8945 9122
Tangentyere Council Inc Tangentyere Council $90,856 The project is run from the community centre at Karnte Camp (Karnte Road) which enables a range of education, domestic violence, substance abuse and health services to deliver services directly to Town Camp residents.  It also provides a central service delivery point and engage programs such as the employment services, playgroups, parenting support, art program nutrition programs, health promotion, family well being, recreational activities and financial counselling. 08 8951 4216
Warlpiri Youth Development Aboriginal Willowra Youth Project - Yuendumu NT $61,500 The project provides a youth service in Willowra to reduce substance misuse and related crime.  It assists participants to develop vocational, educational and life skills that will enable healthy life choices, including local volunteering or mentoring of young people and training to build community leadership and initiative. 08 8956 4188
