AUSkey to MyGovID transition

The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) is changing the way AUSkey users authenticate to Government Online Services. AUSkey is retiring at the end of March 2020 and replaced by myGovID (Individual digital identity proofing) and RAM (Relationship Authorisation Manager), RAM’s purpose is to link your ABN to your myGovID and manage your authorisations in one place.  Links provided below explain the two products and how to access/set them up. The Department of Social Services is currently working with the ATO to establish the necessary technical integration solution so that we can accept myGovID/RAM authentication and kick off transition activities to help you move across prior to or by the end of March. The following are some relevant links offering more information:

Please note that you can continue using your AUSkey until its retirement in March 2020. For more information about how the ATO is replacing AUSkey visit https://www.ato.gov.au/General/Online-services
