The Department has finalised the Volunteer Grants 2015 selection process. Almost 130,000 volunteers in around 5,300 organisations throughout Australia will benefit from funding of $20 million under Volunteer Grants 2015.

The funding will support volunteers in their important work and the grants of between $1,000 and $5,000 each will enable organisations to purchase much needed equipment such as computers, or help with training volunteers, fuel costs or undertaking background security checks.

A list of successful organisations is provided below. All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application in writing by email or post from mid-May 2016. A list of frequently asked questions is also available below.

Generic feedback is provided below. Feedback on individual applications will not be provided for this round.

Information about other DSS funding opportunities can be found on the DSS Grants Page. Organisations can also subscribe to receive alerts about future DSS grants. If your application has not been successful this time, it will not affect any future applications you may make for DSS funding.

If you have any questions, please contact the Department’s Grants Support Team on 1800 020 283 (Option 0) (9am to 5pm AEST, Monday to Friday), or you can email grants@dss.gov.au
