The Australian Government is directly approaching providers to deliver services under the Young People sub-Activity (formerly Reconnect) in the Bega (Southern NSW) area for the period 1 March 2015 to 30 June 2016.  Funding will be offered to one organisation as a result of this process.

The aim of the Young People sub-Activity is to prevent homelessness by intervening early with families and young people (12-18 years) to stabilise and improve their home situation and improve their level of engagement with family, work, education, training and their local community.  This is achieved through interventions such as counselling, mediation, group work and practical support to the whole family, in culturally and contextually appropriate services, services including a strong focus on facilitating an integrated service approach and working collaboratively with other services in the service region.

This funding round was open between 19 January and 6 February 2015.
