The Third Action Plan 2015-2018 of the National Framework for Protecting Australia’s Children 2009‑2020 commits to undertake awareness-raising activities focusing on parenting practices to enhance safe and supportive environments in the early years.
The Commonwealth Department of Social Services commissioned the Parenting Research Centre and the Centre for Community Child Health at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute to analyse existing Australian initiatives with community awareness-raising messages about parenting.
