Community Information Sessions
The Department of Social Services is engaging across the Northern Territory to provide communities with information on the option to transition from Income Management to the Cashless Debit Card.
The department has already engaged extensively with communities and key stakeholders around the Northern Territory. Since October 2019, the Department of Social Services has held almost 200 community engagement sessions with over 5,000 participants in 80 communities in the Northern Territory.
The department works with local stakeholders to schedule community information sessions in communities. The department is aiming to visit as many communities as possible through the engagement process. If you would like the DSS engagement team to visit your community, your store, or your organisation please contact NTEngagementandTransition@dss.gov.au
