The outcomes in the ESOR are based primarily on data from Post-Programme Monitoring surveys, which have been conducted by the Department of Employment since 1987 and reported since 2007 for DES. The surveys measure the labour market status of job seekers around three months after they have received assistance through government-funded employment services and provide a consistent picture of job seeker outcomes regardless of changes in policy or employment programs. The surveys also measure job seeker satisfaction with the services they receive, although not at a level which enables assessment of individual providers’ performance in this regard.
