National Disability and Carers Advisory Council meets for first time

Members of the National Disability and Carers Advisory Council (NDCAC) met for their inaugural meeting in Canberra today.

The role of NDCAC is to provide advice to Government on matters affecting people with disability, to help drive key Government reforms for people with disability, their carers and their family.

The Council brings together leaders from business and the disability and carer sectors, who will play a key role in collaborating with the States and Territories, mainstream services and other stakeholders to drive reform.
