Information for Aged Care Providers newsletter
The Department produces a regular newsletter for aged care providers which is a snapshot of advice on current key issues. All those who subscribe to receive updates from the Department will receive this newsletter. Previous issues of the newsletter are available for viewing.
ACAT CHAT is a newsletter designed to keep Aged Care Assessment Teams (ACAT) up to date on current issues and informed about new policy and program initiatives impacting on the Assessment Program.
Use the form below to keep updated on policy changes, as well as information that affects the aged care sector. By completing the subscription form you are consenting to your professional information being collected for subscription and communication purposes. The Department of Social Services uses MailChimp to send messages, which is based in the United States of America. MailChimp may collect personal information please ensure you review the Privacy and Consent statement.
Please note the subscribed email address may receive information regularly. If you do not want to receive regular communications, but need to keep up to date, you can view messages on the Department of Social Service website. Alternatively, a group mailbox can be subscribed for your organisation, which can be used to distribute messages as appropriate. The Department of Social Services highly recommends subscribing at least one email address per organisation.

Approved providers of Commonwealth funded aged care services that receive funding under the Aged Care Act 1997 are encouraged to be subscribed here to receive important information that may affect their business.
The Department of Social Services (DSS) will only use information subscribers have provided for the purpose of creating, sending and managing emails relating to the work of DSS, in accordance with the preferences chosen by subscribers. DSS will also use this information to measure Email Campaign performance and to improve the features for specific segments of customers, evaluate your use of our website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage.
