FaCS strategic research directions and the academic research community

The FaCS research and evaluation agenda requires sophisticated analytical skills. In support of its research requirements, the department strives to develop and maintain links with the research community, and to keep in touch with researchers working on areas of interest to the FaCS portfolio.

On Thursday 30 September 1999, the Strategic Policy and Analysis Branch of FaCS hosted a meeting with representatives from external research organisations with existing research relationships with FaCS. The purpose of the meeting was to communicate the FaCS research priorities and to facilitate enhanced relationships between FaCS and the broader research community.
