Progress Report to the Council of Australian Governments 2010 - 2012

Aim of publication

This report is the first in a series of progress reports to the Council of Australian Governments and the general public on the National Plan to Reduce Violence against Women and their Children 2010–2022 (the National Plan).  The report details the progress made and challenges faced during the first two years of implementation of the National Plan.

Who is it for?

This report is for Commonwealth, State and Territory governments, non-government organisations and service providers.  The information contained in this report will also be of interest to individuals working with women who have experienced violence or people who are concerned about violence against women and their children.

What does it cover?

The report tracks progress and highlights achievements in implementing the first two years of the National Plan. The report details actions taken by the Commonwealth, State and Territory governments and non-government organisations and discusses progress made against the National Outcomes under the First Action Plan and the National Priorities under the National Implementation Plan of the First Action Plan.
