Analysis of Wage Assessment Tools used by Business Services
An analysis of the Australian Government developed wage assessment tool is now available.
This analysis was undertaken to provide information to assist in the consideration of an application to the Australian Industrial Relations Commission (AIRC) by the Australian Liquor, Hospitality and Miscellaneous Workers Union (ALHMWU) to vary the ALHMWU Supported Employment (Business Enterprises) Award 2001.
The new wage tool for business services assesses both worker productivity and competency. It uses new and existing workers information to provide comprehensive wage assessments.
A report is available incorporating the independent analysis of 22 Wage Assessment Tools that have been approved for use in Business Services.
