National People with Disabilities and Carer Council, 2011-13
The Australian Government has announced the establishment of a new Council, the Disability and Carers Industry Advisory Council. The new Council will replace the former National People with Disabilities and Carer Council and its working groups.

The National Disability Strategy Indigenous Working Group
The former Government established a working group of key Indigenous and disability stakeholders, Chaired by Damian Griffis, Executive Officer of First Peoples Disability Network, to develop a new Closing the Gap target aimed at increasing access to services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with disability.
